I had been to the Bignor Hill for the winter shooting at 2 Jan 2025. The sky was very very clear. And I had a chance to shoot Orion. It would only possible to be seen in the UK winter. The most challanging stuff is the freaking cold weather.
The photos are just using basic histogram to process.
